About My Ministry
As a deacon ordained for the Catholic Church, in the local church of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, and serving at St. Raphael Church and Mission in San Rafael, I am committed to ministering to our community through a life of Gospel service.

The life and vocation of a deacon is one of service; he is conformed to Christ as a servant leader, as Christ was a servant leader.

With faith, compassion, and a steadfast devotion, my ministry is rooted in journeying with parishioners, sharing the Gospel message of hope, and helping to nurture a lasting connection to Christ through the Church.

Whether through pastoral care, liturgical and sacramental service, or charitable outreach, I strive to embody the values central to the role of a deacon.

Together, we build a stronger and faithful community under the guidance of Christ.
This video, produced by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, provides a wonderful overview of the deacon's ministry and life. If you are wondering just what your deacon does, or if you are discerning a vocation to the diaconate, this video is a great resource for you.
